AC MODELS
DC models offer an excellent solution when no energy sources can be found near the installation site. They can be powered by solar energy. The system operates 12 VDC lathing solenoids.
 
AC models are protected against power failures by a backup battery. The system uses 24VAC solenoids.

OUTSTDANDING FEATURES
  • Flexible network definition enables handling multiple irrigation lines, local and central fertilizer injectors, main valves and pumps, flushing filters, co-valves, digital tensiometers and contacts for general applications.
  • Delayed or advanced action of main valves can be requested.
  • Programs can be changed during irrigation. The changes may be temporary or permanent.
  • Versatile fertilizing options including proportional, bulk or timed based injection, with or without feedback. Water before and after fertilization can be requested. The 8 fertilizer injectors per unit can serve as a local or central.
  • Filters can be flushed by time or by pressure differential.
  • A detailed chronological events report along with an optional selective alarm system, supply information about normal and faulty activities.
  • Extensive fault detection mechanisms enables identifying and eliminating flow violations, leakages, wrong pressure, fertilizer faults, power failure, endless flushing loops, problems with tensiometers, short circuits in solenoids (AC) etc.
  • Small units can be expanded to larger ones without having to be replaced.

COMMUNICATION AND CENTRAL CONTROL

The SAPIR is equipped with local and remote communication facilities. The built-in key board and LCD display enable local programming in the field and remote communication is carried out through Radio, Telephone or Cellular modem or direct communication line. A personal computer serving as central control station offers a very efficient programming tool. Water and fertilizers consumption is stored and accumulated in the center. The “SAPIR to SAPIR link” is a special feature which enables full communication from panel of any SAPIR unit to the other, connected to the same communication line.
