ORACLE

Utilizing the SMS system for transferring bidirectional messages between ORACLE units and cellular phones. Triggered by the status of its inputs, the ORACLE generates SMS messages that can be addressed to cellular handsets or other ORACLE units which when receiving the message will execute the included command and activate some output device. This way, changes of contacts in one place can cause the activation of remote devices no matter what is the distance between them.

Utilizing the web of the GSM cellular system the ORACLE enables transmission of SMS messages to specified cellular phone numbers reporting the status of the sensors connected to its dry contact digital inputs. On the other hand reverse messages can be sent from cellular phones to the unit, enabling remote activation of devices connected to the outputs.

Messages can be generated by any change in the state of the inputs or even when sensors remain in a certain state for a predefined period. The contents of the SMS messages can be dictated by the user.
The ORACLE uses the same hardware of the AFIK irrigation controller therefore the particular application depends only of the software loaded into it.

  • 2 dialing policies: to all members or to the first successful. 
  •  Each phone number can be associated with any of the 4 inputs in order to receive messages selectively depending on their status.
  • An input may generate up to 4 kinds of messages describing its actual status: open, close, changing from open to close or from closed to open.
  • The messages can be edited by the user either directly through the unit's key board or remotely through the SMS system.
  • Outputs can be remotely activated/deactivated by SMS messages sent from the users handsets to the unit.
  • Received output commands are responded by an SMS describing the actual status of outputs and inputs  
  •  Statuses of inputs and outputs can be remotely interrogated
  • "All is well" message may be requested
  • The on board status display includes the actual state of the outputs/ inputs and the reception signal level
  • Powered by a small solar cell and rechargeable batteries.
